Proverbs Every Day

There are 31 chapters in the book of Proverbs, and 30 or 31 days in most months. (And then there’s February…) You can read a chapter of Proverbs every day, every month, every year, for your life. It’s a worthy goal and a rewarding practice.

On this website you can do several things:

  1. Sign up to receive the Proverbs Every Day daily email. The sign up form is at the bottom of the home page: Click Here. Get each day’s chapter of Proverbs delivered to your email inbox. You can choose to receive the King James version or the Douay-Rheims version of Proverbs. These versions are in the public domain. I am currently working on obtaining permissions for other Bible versions which I hope to share here.
  2. Read the book of Proverbs from the King James Version or Douay-Rheims versions of the Bible. Links can be found at the top of each page on this website.
  3. Read blog posts with my thoughts on various portions of Proverbs. As I journey through life with Proverbs as my guide, I sometimes like to share my thoughts on how God’s word applies to my life. I hope these blog posts will be an encouragement to my fellow Christians in the spirit of 1 Peter 5:9 – “knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world,” of which group of brethren I am a weak one indeed. If any of these blog posts helps a brother, I give all glory to Jesus Christ, for without Him I can do nothing (John 15:5).
  4. Leave comments on blog posts.
  5. Contact me. Please use the website contact form: Click Here. I’m happy to interact for mutual encouragement.

I hope you will join me in the practice of reading a chapter of Proverbs each day. I start each morning by reading a chapter of Proverbs (with a cup of coffee). It’s one of the best devotional practices I’ve ever started. I hope you will do the same and find the same satisfaction.
